With a workforce of nearly 150 reliable workers, comprised of individuals with disabilities supported by non-disabled employees, Herkimer Industries has been providing competitive subcontracting services throughout the United States since 1973.

We start each project with a detailed review meeting.  At this meeting, all aspects of the customer’s needs are specified and a realistic scope of work is put in writing.  Herkimer Industries assigns a project manager who is responsible for all communications with the customer.  Customers have access to their assigned project manager via phone, email and fax.

We are currently partnering with Arthur Kerr and Kerr Enterprises to bring a variety of product lines to commercial, state and federal customers.  Herkimer Industries will complete a myriad of packaging processes for the various product lines as well as warehousing and order fulfillment.

The Herkimer Area Resource Center enables people with disabilities and others in our community to achieve full potential and to live enriched lives.  Over 400 staff members provide services to over 600 participants in Day Program, Health Services, Residential (24 hour homes), Respite and Recreational Services, Career Connections, Herkimer Industries, The Goodwill-HARC Store & Donation Center, and Transportation.  For further information regarding the Herkimer Area Resource Center, visit www.herkimerarc.org.
